A gentle pause, happening Monday


AN INVITATION TO PAUSE (not another workshop) WORKSHOP

Hello, you wonderful human you! 👋😊

This time of year tends to pull us in many directions. And yet, here you are reading this — even if you’re just skimming. Thank you.

I want to invite you to something next Monday at 12pm Eastern that is intentionally not another workshop-workshop.

I’m calling it a Sur-PAUSE Party!

This isn’t a place to learn something new, fix anything, or make progress on a goal.
It’s a chance to practice showing up differently.

Instead of doing, we’ll be being.

The idea is simple: to create a shared space where you’re invited to pause — on purpose — alongside other humans who are choosing the same.

Bring something you enjoy, especially something you don’t often make time for:
• a favourite warm drink
• that book you’ve put aside
• a puzzle, game, or creative project
• a journal
• or nothing but your marvellous self

There’s no agenda.
No expectations.
No requirement to speak or participate in any particular way.

If it feels helpful, we can gently create smaller spaces during the session — for quiet company or light conversation. Nothing will be pre-set. We’ll follow what feels right in the moment.

You’re welcome to pop in, say hello, stay quietly absorbed in whatever you’ve brought, or simply enjoy being in the room together.

Why join?

🔸 Because rest doesn’t need to be earned.

🔸Because joy doesn’t need to be productive.

🔸Because sometimes doing nothing is the most restorative thing we can do for ourselves – and one another.
